PADI Scuba Diver Course

PADI Scuba Diver Course

Duration

2 days

Equipment

Full scuba gear provided

Requirements:

 • Minimum age 10 years
 • Ability to swim
 • Good general health

Description:

The PADI Scuba Diver Course suits people who want a recognised qualification but don't have the time — or, for now, the inclination — to complete the full Open Water Diver course. It's a genuine certification, not a taster, and it can later be upgraded to Open Water by finishing the remaining sections.

Over two days you'll work through the foundational knowledge and water skills: assembling and checking your kit, breathing techniques, mask clearing, controlling your buoyancy, and the basic safety procedures every diver relies on. The training is split between confined water, where you build the skills, and open water dives, where you put them to use. Equipment is provided throughout.

The course is open to anyone aged 10 or older who can swim and is in good general health. Because the qualification keeps you within 12 metres and alongside a professional, it's a sensible option if you expect to dive mainly on holiday rather than independently.

Notes:

 • Price does not include PADI/SSI manual or certification fees.
