PADI Divemaster Course

The first professional-level diving qualification. It certifies you to supervise dive activities, guide certified divers, and assist instructors during training.

2 days
Full scuba gear provided

The Advanced Open Water course is less about classroom theory and more about logged experience. It's structured around five adventure dives, each focused on a different aspect of diving — two of them fixed, the rest chosen from a list that usually includes options like wreck, night, and buoyancy.

Two of those dives are compulsory: a deep dive, which takes you beyond the 18-metre Open Water limit toward the 30-metre advanced limit, and an underwater navigation dive. The remaining three let you sample specialities you might want to pursue further. An instructor leads every dive, and the course runs over two days with equipment provided.

To enrol you need a PADI Open Water Diver certification and to be at least 12 years old, in good general health. There's no minimum number of logged dives, though if it's been a while since you last dived, a refresher beforehand tends to make the deep dive more enjoyable.
