PADI Seal Team

PADI Seal Team

Description:

Seal Team is built around AquaMissions. Each one is a short, themed activity. The first five cover the core skills that every diver needs: breathing, buoyancy, mask handling, regulator recovery, and basic gear assembly. The remaining missions are specialty themes. Wreck diving in the pool, underwater navigation with a compass, environmental awareness, buoyancy practice for hovering like an astronaut, and underwater photography with a digital camera. Kids work through them at their own pace.

Everything happens in a pool. Depth stays shallow. A PADI Pro is in the water for every session, and the gear is sized for younger divers rather than scaled-down adult kit. The format suits the attention span of an 8-12 year old. Short bursts, clear goals, immediate feedback. Kids who finish the first five AquaMissions earn a Seal Team certification. Completing the additional themed missions adds a Master Seal Team rating on top.

To join, a child must be at least 8 years old, comfortable in the water, and have a parent or guardian's permission. No prior scuba experience is needed. Basic swimming ability is expected. The programme is a good fit for children who liked Bubblemaker and want to keep going, or for kids who are too young for the Junior Open Water Diver course (minimum age 10) but old enough to handle a structured pool session.
